Birthday Fun!

This was by far the best birthday I've had in probably several years. I have a great family as usual, and this year I have a boyfriend who actually gives a hoot about my birthday and likes to do stuff with me and my family and doesn't bitch about it!

The day started off with a fabulous dance party with my roommate and long time friend Laura, then her, I, Nate and his two kids all met up for breakfast at Fat Nats.

Tom (Moms boyfriend) and I share the same day for our birthdays. This year a good family friend Esther was in town. She sings opera out in NY and has been to several different countries to do so. She was in Rochester on March 10th so we went down to see her and go out or drinks afterwards. It was so good to see her and totally worth all the driving.

That night was spent in Plainview with family to just hang out and have fun. It was really nice to just relax and have fun.

Typical sister picture! Pretty sure that if I get married someday, the photographer is going to get pissed at the two of us!

I also got to go out to dinner with Dad and Rachel Sunday night. We went to big bowl and it was nice to have my Grandma also join us!

Sunday during the day was spend at my friend Shana's baby shower! I know her from Vet Tech school and she has remained a very good friend!

This past Thursday/Friday Nate got a hotel up in Rogers and we went up there for the night. Friday during the day we hit up Cabelas. Yes I know it's not that far from home, but it was just nice to get away from everything and take a break from life! He's such a great guy and I wouldn't trade him for anything!

This weekend brought a big change too. Beasley is no longer part of the household. Through out the 5 months that I had him, he snapped several times at Cloe while she and I were playing and I decided that since I have been unable to break him of that behavior it was best to just get rid of him. I won't even tell you about the headache it was to deal with his rescue to get Beasley back to them. I will say though that now that he's gone, the house is less stressful, and it's better with out him. I do hope he finds the right home, but this one just wasn't it.

Cloe and Dexter (Laura's puppy) get along great!
