Tractor show and Happy Birthday Krista

Me and Allis

This weekend was a very busy one for Tony and I. Friday night we packed up the dogs, and headed to Tony's parent's house in Belle Plaine. We had pizza for dinner and then spent the night. Nothing extremely exciting, but it was really nice to sit around and relax with nice people. Tony's mom set up a little fenced in area so that the dogs don't have to be on the leash all the time while there. Allis and Cloe had so much fun running around and being goofy pugs, that by the end of the weekend they were exhausted, which is just the way I like them!

Saturday we got up really early, me at 5:30am, Tony at 6am. Tony, his dad, and I all headed out to Hutchinson, MN to an antique tractor show called Orange Spectacular. I have attended this with them for the last couple years now and I enjoy it. You don't really do much, just walk around, look at tractors, and all the stuff the vendors are selling, but it's a good way to spend quality time with them.

Then Saturday night was the best part. My best friend Krista turned 30, so Tony and I drove down to Mankato to help her celebrate. Most of our friends from school drove down too, which was really nice. Quite a few people showed up and I would say all in all it was a really good time. Of course there were lots of goofy pictures of us taken, because that's just how we roll. Tony and I headed out at about 11pm, drove back to Belle Plaine to get the dogs, then continued on our way back to Northfield. We ended up getting home a little after 2am, and I went straight to bed.

Now it's Sunday and the only thing I'm doing is finishing up homework, and studying for a couple tests that are happening tomorrow in class. One of them is our math competency that we have to pass with 100%. I passed on the first try last quarter, so I think I'll be fine on this one too. Then we have a test on medical instruments, since I'm in surgery too this quarter. That one I'm not feeling so confident about, but we will see how it goes. I have the rest of today to do more studying for it.
